Issued pads are garbage

Issued pads are garbage

First, thank you for Operation Helmet! What a fantastic program for Soldier safety and comfort! I stumbled across your website while researching helmet pads for our issued ACH Kevlar helmet. I am a platoon sergeant for an Army heavy engineer platoon. We (as a company) are getting deployed overseas soon. As heavy engineers our job includes everything from building/maintaining/improving/fixing roads and runways, to base/FOB construction and improvements. From prior Soldier deployments, we as Heavy Engineers are frequently outside the wire. Would my platoon be eligible for your program? My platoon is about 40 Soldiers, and the company approximately 140. Best regards, and again, Thank you for what you do! SSG, US Army

Kits: 32. Hometown: Cleveland, TN. Heard about us: One of my Team Leaders. Duties: Route Clearance. Current pads: Grey, issued pads that are garbage. Comments: The current pads are not only uncomfortable but cause headaches to the Soldiers. In cold conditions they are hard as rocks and incredibly painful to use. SFC, US Army

Kits: 2. Hometown: Huntington Beach California. Heard about us: Team leader on other team. Duties: Maritime raid force for US meu. Current pads: Stock ones, gray, they suck. Comments: Thank you. Cpl, US Marines
