Our current pads dig into our foreheads and temples

Kits: 50. Hometown: Morgan, UT. Heard about us: Google. Duties: Convoy, Security Escort. Current pads: Gentex Corporation Advanced Combat, Sage Green. Comments: We are currently running missions that require us to wear our helmets for long periods at a time (12-48 hrs). Our current pads dig into our foreheads and temples. Some of my troops have even complained of migraines from wearing their helmets. Hopefully these pads will allow us to perform our missions with increased comfort. 1 LT, US Air Force

Kits: 1. Hometown: Huntington, NY (Long Island). Heard about us: Battle Buddy. Duties: Counterterrorism/Mounted Ops. Current pads: Pad, helmet, advanced combat oblong/oval size…sage green…looks to be almost Velcro. Comments: The pads that came in my tactical ballistic helmet IIIA are very uncomfortable and unforgiving and my battle buddies helmets, which have your company’s pads, are amazing. Thank you so much!! Special Agent, US Air Force

Kits: 30.  Duties: Dismounted Infantry Patrolling. Current pads: 3M Ceradyne SPS IHPS (Hard, Rough, Glued). Comments: Issued pads are hard, with little give, and rough. That combination in 100+ degree heat or under NODs is a constant, annoying distractor when Paratroopers need to focus on the ground and possible threats around them. I’ve lived through four generations of helmets, and these pads are worse than any that have come before them. CPT, US Army
