Our helmet pads suck and are not comfortable to wear

Kits: 3. Hometown: Houston Texas. Heard about us: Through my command on base. Duties: Reconnaissance. Current pads: Hard grey ones. Comments: Hi! This is a great organization we appreciate everything you all do! Our pads in the helmets suck and are not comfortable to wear at all. They become hardened from sweat and heat and cold. Thank you!. Kits: 40. Hometown: East Meadow, NY. Heard about us: Word of mouth from coworker. Duties: Mounted infantry operations. Current pads: Green- pad, helmet, advanced combat,M6784-D-1221/gentex corporation. Comments: I am requesting to receive an order of pads for my platoon which is scheduled to deploy to CentCom. We are a mounted infantry unit who will regularly be wearing helmets for extended periods on patrols and other operations. The current pads are very firm and uncomfortable and our unit is unable to supply anything different due to budget restrictions. It would be greatly appreciated to receive these upgraded pads. 1stLt, US Marines

Kits: 50. Duties: Infantry. Current pads: IIF. Comments: Size and water retention. 2ndLt, US Marines

Kits: 50. Hometown: Cleveland, Ohio. Heard about us: Battle buddy. Duties: Mortar fires supporting infantry. Current pads: Terrible blue pads. Comments: The blue pads are just terrible and don’t fit my Marines heads right. With these, which I’ve tried, they are not only better fit, they are comfortable (which as you guys know, keeps kevlars on Marines heads longer). I believe in what you do and will be donating as well. Thank you. 1stLt, US Marines

Kits: 120. Hometown: Rochester, NY. Heard about us: Combat experienced buddy. Duties: Infantry. Current pads: Issued. Comments: I know you won’t be able to cover the whole company, but anything you can do will be greatly appreciated. LCpl, US Marines
