Current Pads: Standard issued pads, PADJ-HELMET ANDVANCED COMBAT NSN 8470-01-546-9356. Comments: You guys sent my and my platoon in which I was the Medic these pads due to them complaining about headaches, not being comfortable and the protection they gave us when we had IED’s go off around us. I cannot thank you enough for what you guys do and I truly believe that your pads had prevented more serious head trauma and even possible death. I am deploying again in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and would like to get these pads for the Civil affairs team that I am deploying with.I have donated to your 501(c) on several occasions and will be making another donation prior to deploying. Kits: 1. Hometown: Detroit, MI. Heard about us: Other PL. Duties: Establish new FOBs. Current Pads: 7 Standard Issue ECH pads for L ECH. Comments: The current issue helmet pads are very uncomfortable for prolonged wear. Deploying in 2 weeks. 1LT, US Army

Kits: 8. Hometown: Syracuse, NY. Heard about us: blogs. Duties: We will be doing force protection, patrols, etc.. Current Pads: CIF/basic issue. Comments: Basic issue pads do not fit everyone as well as they should. Headaches are common. This causes soldiers to remove their helmet often and in situations when they need the protection. The issued pads are very hard and often times do not mold well to the soldiers heads. This causes the helmet to move around or when fitted with NVGs they cause even more discomfort. During night time ops this is a serious problem. SSG, US Army

Kits: 28. Hometown: Boise, ID. Heard about us: Friend. Duties: Infantry. Current Pads: Stock ach pads. Comments: In airborne configuration, the pads cause headaches from pushing on the temple portion of the head. Prolonged use is difficult, and different configuration styles don’t help much. SGT, US Army
